Like always, I was seduced by a beautiful woman to spend my money. You know the type, Nordic self-assurance combined with Latin passion. I could not help myself! In the mist that descended upon me I was weak and bought myself yet another lens!

charmychelle: Haha 😆👍👍 I’m afraid that I can’t claim to have been seduced by a handsome man to buy a lens, only by my computer or my phone..😩 It seems that I can’t find everything I need on the high street, and that’s a shame because I much prefer the traditional way of shopping! 😊 This is a wonderful arty shot, and a great lens, looking forward to seeing your pics from it! 😉 Have a lovely day, Daniel! 📸

bigfarmer: Well Charmychelle I am easily seduced. I hardly need any encouragement :-) It happens that Mari and I share the same passion for old glass. Maybe you should talk to Piotr. You might find yourself shopping for some old glass! I hope to use old this old stuff that I bought recently, but right now I am rather busy studying unfortunately. Have a great mornight Charmychelle!

bigfarmer: Thank you Tom!!! And thank you for the idea. If I find time I might show some more lenses, as I bought quite some last summer. Mostly Cosina, Canon and an odd Pentak or Tokina. But I do know someone who might advertise moren convincingly :-))

_marisol: Ok Daniël, let´s get down the busines 🤪 At 1st, this is exactly the same lens that I have...f2.8, excellent optics, isn´t it? Since we last time talked I have bought 2 new lenses...hehheh!! The first is from the same FD series as this 135mm but it's Canon 100-200, f.eg the hood is similar and other design, and it's quite new and heavy which is good, thesedays the product weight correlates with quality. My other new lens is the Canon 80-200mm EF, I already had this lens but it's a cheaper. Ok, now I have to hit the road and drive to Kotka, a 100km drive from here to east. They have an awesome Maritime Museum, will post a pic later tonight. Have a nice week :):)

bigfarmer: I hope this is the comment I did not reply to, otherwise I am pretty much lost. Nice to know you've got the same lens! I have not been able to use it yet but am very curious how it will perform. I have another lens with the exact same specifications, apart from the automatic aperture setting, from Cosina. I know Cosina has made lenses and cameras for other brands like Canon, Nikon, Zeis and so on, so I wonder if the Canon 135mm f2.8 is an enhanced Cosina 135mm f2.8. They even got the same type of extendable lenshood!. I hope to post a picture of both lenses soon. The FD 100-200 is one of those lenses I missed out on during an auction. Bummer!. Looking forward to pictures of that EF 80-200 lens. That really must be something special!
