This is how the centre of my town looks like with the Christmas tree in front of the Shire Hall, which remains shut as of now... The first time in about a year that I've done some night photography, not counting the light trails shot! #smfc#3in1#alive#powerful#shimmering #nikon

😊 Grazie tanto amico mio, buona serata a te! βœ¨πŸŒ™βœ¨

buzohippo: Beautiful tree!

charmychelle: Thanks Maria, glad you like it! 😊 I’m really out of practice with night photography so it was nice to be able to do it again. You might not be able to tell at first glance but this was one of the most difficult images that I’ve edited. I had to remove half of a van that was parked on the right hand side and some unflattering shadows from the centre, easier said than done! ☺️

hogman72664: I'm not surprised to read that you've been cloning and healing. (I could do with a Charmy clone). I am surprised at how brilliantly you have pulled it off, even after being aware of it I struggle to see where. Might have to invest in a bigger and better monitor. Awesomeness is becoming the norm for your work. :-)Xx

charmychelle: If I remember I’ll send the original in my next email. πŸ˜‰ If you zoom in on the right hand side the wonky arches should become evident. πŸ˜… I spent ages on that particular area trying to disguise the editing as best as I could. I also removed the shadows of people who were moving close to the tree itself. I want to continue practicing night photography but snow and ice is stopping play at the moment, it is extremely cold and dangerous to be out after dark. My phone says it’s -5Β°C right now but as I’m more or less in a rural area temps could be even lower than that! I’ll try to maintain the awesomeness in my work but I can’t promise anything! πŸ˜… And a Charmy clone would be interesting... πŸ‘©πŸ‘© I’d better start responding to comments, I’ve become addicted to posting pics of snow! πŸ˜… We must have had over a foot of the stuff here, it’s just an absolutely incredible scene all around! Many thanks, dear David, goodnight and much love and best wishes to you and everyone! xxx

jerry0522: May I ask if you used a tripod! Not sure you would have needed one...I guess with all the light you may have shot this without! Its tact sharp so wonderful job regardless and I love your town Michelle...more please :):)
