Can anyone recommend me a New Camera for $600 or under? I was thinking maybe an Sony a6000. Just don't know if that is the best Camera for the money.

charmychelle: I don’t consider myself to have the technical knowledge to help you out but from what I’ve read, that is a great camera and I’m sure you’ll get your money’s worth for performance! ☺️ Happy New Year to you, Frank! 🎇🎆🥂⭐️🥂🎆🎇

bigfarmer: Frank, what is your purpose for the camera and do you want (largers) interchangable lenses? Are you going to use it for video as well? I don't think that you can go wrong on this camera. The kits lens seems rather bad from what I hear, but you can always change that over time.

frank reynolds nh: thanks big farmer. I have a few lens for Sony already since I have the a5000. so I thought I could use them. I'm going to shoot a lot of video this year. I liked the frames per second. and the view finder. the sun glare is too much at times on my a5000.

bigfarmer: For video you might check out the Canon EOS SL2/200D. It should be just around $600 including a decend kit lens. See for instance

lankhaar: I have a Sony NEX-7 that was the model right before the a6000 and still use it a lot. I bought an a5000 because I wanted the touchscreen which is excellent for tracking shots but the lack of a viewfinder means it stays in the bag a lot.

lankhaar: I have a friend with a Nikon D3400 and he gets some great shots with it. You can pick one up with an 18-55mm and a 70-300mm for about $600.

jerry0522: I can only tell you that the a6000 is what I shoot with and I am happy with it. Good luck :)
