This is the largest active lake in the world, Halemaumau, in HVNP. Off to the left, you can see a red lehua blossom. There is a beautiful hawaiian legend about this blossom, so ill share that story when I post a picture where lehua is the star 💖

cameraam: I’m so sorry it took me a while to respond. I’m guessing from your second message you figured it out. I realized I need to be way more clear when talking about pictures I post. Thank you :)

cameraam: Thank you!!! I can go see it whenever I want, but I’m still in awe every single time!
cameraam: I wish I could get better quality once it gets darker, but I guess I need a real camera for that 😂 I would also need to learn how to use it! Thank you 🤗

cameraam: 😂😂😂 I think I’ve expressed some words like that a few times 😉 One night, one of my friends showed me a spot where I could sit on the edge of the outer crater rim wall of this same lava lake. It is away from the other people and much closer to it than the picture here. You can listen to the little explosions going on and hear the inner rim walls cracking. That same night, someone else sitting in their own random spot, started playing an instrument that was flute like, but a Hawaiian type of song. I just froze and listened. It was beautiful and spiritual. I’ll never forget that. It’s mesmerizing every single time.

kyle1337: Indeed! It truly is incredible! I also now realize that the first comment may have come off a little bit mean. If so im sorry, that was not my intention
