I was thinking I might need a break but then I realized that it´s better to focus on keeping yourself busy. And so I went to my ex hometown where there´s an animal shelter from where we picked Minnie up at the time. I´m not a saint, but I wanted to make a donation to this animal shelter which runs with the city´s funding so they have a shortage of everything. On the way back home I drove through this river...haven´t taken pics of it for a long time so I had a good reason to pull over, walk to the bridge and take some shots. It was -7 and windy. Zoom in and check out the mallards sleeping on the ice, or actually there´s an old boom that controls the current of water. I and my family want to thank you for all the comments on Minnie´s picture. Those comments mean a lot to me, they made me feel better and helped me with my grief. Haven´t had yet time to reply all of them, but will definitely do it. Once again this community showed how wonderful members we have 💜💙🧡
