Lloyds Building - London This building is famous for having all its 'internal organs' (lifts, stairs, ventilation etc) on the outside

_marisol: Stunning angle. Think it's not a 100% b&w image, right? Just thinking...are the lifts made by Kone? My husband works for this company and they build lifts and escalators all over the world πŸ›«

andy-w: It's actually full colour but is a very black and white building... I don't know the manufacturer of the lifts but they look like an exciting ride being totally glass and outside

jjanner: According to a colleague of mine at Lloyd's, the elevators were manufactured by Express before they became a subsidiary of Otis.

jjanner: Also famous for being my home a few times a year, hanging out with underwriters in the box.

zim: It seems to me that this architecture creates problems instead of solving them

andy-w: You can be right... There are not many of this type of building
