mariacarmen: What a fantastic result !!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ I like this mysterious edition with a brilliant and dramatic๐Ÿ’š green color, and Mark the main character๐Ÿ˜Ž .. Hey this reminds me of a medieval legend about the green children of Woolpit, I was reading something about that๐Ÿ˜จ, perhaps you know more

hogman72664 or david: Hi Maria, excuse my invasion but I live about 6 miles away from Woolpit and know a very little about it. The children were brother and sister and found by the wolf pits (in those times when we had wolves, villages would lay traps for the wolves. I think that is how Woolpit got it's name but I'm not sure). Their skun was green and they didn't speak English. They refused to eat anything other than broad beans, eventually they ate a normal diet and lost the green colour of skin. The boy became ill and died after they were baptised. Then the story gets fantastic as the girl explains that they came from a land where everything was green and the sun never shined. I have never read any explanation of this strange tale but there are a lot of theories ranging from drugging, kidnapping, illness etc. In fact it isn't clear whether the tale is as told by the children or invented by the confused adults trying to make sense of the mystery.
I also live quite near Wayland woods which is where the Babes in the Woods tale comes from. I hope that helps but stories from the 12th century are quite often vague. ๐Ÿ˜Š

mariacarmen: Wow, then it was true๐Ÿ˜ฎ, you know I am fascinated by these legends๐Ÿ˜, when I saw this documentary in National Geografic, that of fascinated and I was very curious to know more about this .. Yes, I knew that they did not eat anything, what I call Much my attention is that they were in contact with people, that is, they were not some kind of extraterrestrial or something similar as they thought, since there was communication with humans, and if they came from another land where there was no sun, then where is it๐Ÿ’? There is a bit of mystery in this story, now in our times we can find reasonable and logical things like the fact that they did not eat meat, maybe for that reason they did not have color on their skin, or maybe they never had contact with the outside, be another reason ... Aww David thank you very much for telling me more about this story, it's amazing that you live near this region, I'm sure there are thousands more stories, ohh Wayland woods๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š, it's fantastic, I hope one day I can visit these incredible places, again thank you very much๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—
